VIC:Cyclist critical after crash with truck
MELBOURNE, Aug 29 AAP - A cyclist has lost a leg after being hit by a truck in inner
Melbourne on Monday morning.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the man, aged about 60, was taken to The Alfred hospital.
He also suffered a collapsed lung and head injuries.
The accident happened in Swan Street, Richmond, about 9am (AEST), police said.
A hospital spokesman said the cyclist was in a critical but stable condition.
The truck driver is assisting police with their inquiries.
